We just returned from our trip to Ireland and Scotland.  They are both beautiful countries.  ..... All arrangements were just as planned for the hotels, the car rental, the tour guides, the day trips, the airlines, and the transportation.  There were no glitches.  Everything went just as planned.  The hotels were wonderful.  Aghadoe Hts and the Carton House in Ireland and The Bonham in Scotland were all excellent and did uphold the 5-star rating that they were given.  Having breakfast included at each hotel really did help with our trip and did get us off to a good start for each of our day trips. Thank you for doing a spectacular job planning and making all arrangements with all of the wonderful people and places.  You did a fantastic job and you made our trip a wonderful experience. Thank you! Hi Trisha, we had a wonderful trip [to Costa Rica]. Everything went very well. We were especially pleased with our driver and guide. They were both really into the wildlife - spotting and stopping for everyone to see. The weather was excellent and it was a big plus that all the places we stopped took American money. Trisha, We are back from a wonderful trip [to Prague and Krakow]. My only regret was that we didn't brush up on our history before going on the trip. One of the many highlights of the trip was dining in the Wierzynek Restaurant in Krakow established in 1364. Wow. ... The salt mines were unbelievable - we got our exercise going down several hundred stairs. I had no idea of the role of the Jewish quarter in the city's history. Prague was a surprise - very Westernized. We shopped and shopped. One of our two best experiences there was a beer hall that our daughter took us to where we all sang and drank (not pop either). The other nice experience was the day before we left. It was the tour of the Nelahozeves Chateau. The Chateau has artwork worth millions of dollars and possibly close to a billion dollars. What made this tour especially nice is that Susan and I were in a private car with a driver and a tour guide. When we got to the Chateau, we were lucky to get an individual tour of the Chateau by a guide. The Hotel Mucha was a very nice hotel and we liked the fact that it was a bit away from the city Centre but very near the Metro and trams. Our most negative experience involved the Czech Air desk at JFK. When we went to check in, Susan had her seat, but I was told that I did not have an assigned seat! It was explained that we would have to sit away from one another because there were no two adjacent seats available. I complained to no avail until I dug out the itinerary showing our original seat assignments. The rep then excused himself and came back ten minutes later and remarkably had found two adjacent seats and apologized. I suspect that had I not had the itinerary with the seat assignments, we may have been out of luck. ... All in all, had Keely not been in Prague, we may have spent all of our time in Krakow - this city is an unspoiled gem! Thank you for all your help Trisha!! "Dan and Susan, Pittsford, NY"

"Hi, Tricia. I've been meaning to thank you since we got back, but I plunged into work & haven't looked up until now. The trip was WONDERFUL! Yunnan is amazing, very few Western tourists (though many Chinese). Unlike the rest of China, it's not too polluted, especially at the higher elevations. Everything on the itinerary was absolutely worth seeing, and the hotels were excellent. The guides were also good, especially our Naxi guide. The food was fantastic, too. The travel service was really helpful--we independently changed a flight to save ourselves from a 5-hr layover in Kunming on the way back to Shanghai, and when I called John from the airport he had a driver there to pick us up in 20 minutes. "Hi Trish, 'thanks for the welcome home and thanks for arranging a wonderful vacation. it was very short but we had a great time. got the car okay in Cancun altho it took about an hour for some reason. the drive was uneventful. the hotel was amazing and I am so glad you suggested the suite--what an awesome room!! Ricardo was off doing a tour with shamans, so we met Enrique and a driver named Roger who were both delightful. enrique was very knowledgable and very nice. we did the sites as laid out in the itinerary. Saturday was an especially great day with stops in Izamal, Chichen, Ilkil cenote and late lunch at Mayaland. we really enjoyed Merida--great city, great people. it was interesting to be in Mexico with its warm, hospitable, easygoing family-oriented people at a time when we are talking about militarizing the border. "Hi Trisha, We returned home yesterday after a magical five week journey to New Zealand. Your arrangements were perfect! We met some lovely people and went on the most beautiful treks and excursions – we learned so much about the country and about New Zealanders. Some of our favorite experiences include the 3 day Abel Tasman Coastal Walk, the Doubtful Sound cruise, and a day long hiking trip over the Tongariro Crossing - thank goodness we could bring our creaking bones back to the beautiful Bayview Chateau that night! The food was outstanding wherever we went and our hosts always had good restaurant suggestions. We savored green lipped mussels, mahi mahi in coconut, and of course famous New Zealand ice cream. We have so many incredible memories of this trip that we vowed to review our photos regularly so we won’t forget a single one. "Trisha, Sea Dream is all you said it would be. We loved Athens -- the metro, the acropoli, and even the Greek restaurants and markets in Moustaraki (sp.). We have just finsihed Hydra and Myconos and are going back into Myconos for a Greek dinner on our own -- we crave simple food. Went to Paradise beach today. The weather has been incredible and the service on this ship is really ridiculous; they even ask if they can clean your sunglasses. Tomorrow is Santorini. Hope all is well. "Hey Trisha, The honeymoon was wonderful. We both got sick the day after the wedding with flu-like symptoms but there was no better place to relax and recover than Positano. We started to feel better after a couple of days and the rest of the honeymoon was perfect. We went to Ravello, Amalfi, Sorento, Capri, Pompei, Florence, and Vatican City and had a fantastic time. Everything went really smoothly thanks to your planning. We had a little bit of trouble getting to Capri; I think because it was the off season, but we hired a private boat to take us there one day. "Hi Trisha, Forgive us for being remiss in getting back to you after our recent trip – it is all due to the fact that we are still in a state of euphoria after witnessing first hand the awesome landscapes and culture of Iceland. There were times when we stood in one place and viewed glaciers, volcanoes, the sea, and geothermal vents all at once!! Our drive and hikes provided breathtaking scenes that were greatly enhanced by the spectacular weather we had all week. The accommodations were outstanding and the Icelandic people we met were most gracious and kind (and English speaking!) It was one of our most memorable adventures and I can’t recommend it highly enough to others. It’s a bit of an undiscovered paradise. " We enjoyed a great vacation. Fantastic, amazing holiday. Paris was beautiful and the accommodation location, excellent. The red double deck hop on/off bus was a great way to get orientated to the city, a must for first time visits to Paris. Having the metro and train tickets in advance was very helpful as well, as we would have spent too much time trying to figure everything out. For the most part we followed the itinerary you prepared in France and the arrangements were completed perfectly. The tour in Normandy was fantastic; we really enjoyed the individual you chose to work with as our tour guide - an educational and sobering experience. He was an outstanding tour guide. And then of course Versailles - WOW, that was a whole day of new experiences and unquestionable appreciation for the history and artistry of the past. All in all it was a fantastic trip. Pamela thought the highlight was the soccer game which we managed to get in. "We had a truly fantastic honeymoon. We loved Bath – didn’t want to leave – and loved London as well. The accommodations in both places were superb. We took advantage of the tour bus tickets and of the British Heritage passes as much as we could. But I must say we will always be grateful for your arrangements to go the Ceremony of the Keys. It was a truly, truly profound experience and probably the single highlight of the entire trip. We will always remember it. In short, our honeymoon could not have gone better. We even did pretty well on the weather, only short bursts of rain here and there in the second week. Now we have to get back to our normal lives, which hasn’t been so easy. "Well, what can we say? Our trip [to Sorrento] was fantastic!! Everything went so smoothly from the rental car pick-up, to the drive, to the check-in at the hotel ... and the hotel, it was perfect! The staff was magnificent - from welcoming us at the desk each day, serving us breakfast, providing us with pool towels and serving us drinks with lunch at the pool and wishing us a pleasant evening at the end of the night. We did stick to our plan of relaxation ... that's for sure. We spent a bit of almost every day by the pool - which was so nice. We saw Pompei on Monday and our only other excursions were the Blue Mini Cruise which was awesome and a trip to Capri. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel in Castel Gondolfoand for our last night and our terrific room overlooking the lake. It was a wonderful surprise. The service, food and view were outstanding. Next to Don Alfonso in Sorrento, dinner there was the best meal we ate on the trip. We wished we had left Sorrento earlier so we could have enjoyed more of that lovely place. Our trip was the best!! Thank you again for your expertise and excellent choices on hotels.
